Having a Certified Veteran’s Business Enterprise (VBE) is important to LEER and our parent company - JB Poindexter & Co (JBPCO). JBPCO CEO and Chairman John B. Poindexter is a decorated veteran honored with numerous awards for his service in the Republic of South Vietnam. John is very much involved with the day-to-day operations and has made recruiting veterans at JBPCO and its subsidiaries, a priority, recognizing the skills and experiences they bring, even partnering with RecruitMilitary to reach more veterans.

It was essential for all JBPCO companies to be certified as a VBE from the National Veteran-Owned Business Association (NaVOBA) to further foster connections with veterans. JBPCO and LEER were officially certified in September 2020, giving the companies formal recognition, paving the way to directly develop relationships and conduct business with other companies across the U.S. looking to work with a business that wasn’t only veteran-owned, but one that emphasized employing veterans as well.

Following a lengthy review to prove businesses are functional and veteran-owned, NaVOBA connects companies across the United States looking to work with veteran businesses with VBEs and Certified Service-Disabled Veteran’s Business Enterprises (SDVBE).

A VBE certification is nationally recognized as the gold standard for veteran-owned businesses. Companies know they are in good hands when conducting business with a VBE.
